ServicePlus offers two types of plans: Gold and Platinum.

Both of these have a series of optional add-ons, such as pools, spas, central vacuum, limited roof leaks, and septic systems, to name a few. Their pre-packaged plans can therefore be expanded to suit every homeowner's needs.

No home inspection is required to purchase a policy. Appliance and system coverage is guaranteed regardless of age, make, or model. However, maintenance records are required for service and the company has a pre-existing condition policy which is unusual in the industry and may limit coverage.

For a single-family home in a small midwestern city, ServicePlus' Gold Plan premium is $569. The company's Platinum plan for the same home runs $649. An annual contract is required for both plans and premiums must be paid on an annual basis.

ServicePlus does not require a home inspection. Coverage starts 30 days after you sign your contract. The company has a 30-day cancellation policy in place.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel this Agreement within the first thirty (30) days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees, less any service costs incurred by us.

If this Agreement is canceled after thirty (30) days, you shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by us.

If we have provided services and the amount of the service costs incurred by us is greater than the contract fees paid, then no refund will be due to you.

BUYER BEWARE. This insurance is a ripoff. I have had 4 claims and they paid only one. It takes forever for them to assign a technician and if you want to get a claim covered, be prepared to stay on the phone and argue. Then, they probably won't pay it anyway. I paid $1735.50 for 6 years in cash. I've had it for 19 months. When I told them I wanted to cancel the policy, they said they would only refund $164. So, now I'm stuck. Once they get your money, you will NOT get the service expect and don't even think about getting a decent refund if you cancel. BE SURE TO READ THE FINE PRINT.

First time using my protection and waiting almost week for someone to come out and fix freezer. I had to call them all the time to find out what is going on Being I was told that I would be called with in 24 to 48 hours with service provider info and never was . Called in on Mon and it is now Friday nd still have not heard from them. When you call you are on hold forever. Not real happy with service.

Had a new heater installed by JGRSM Installation Company in January of 2018. Had multiple problems with it from the beginning. Contacted Total Home numerous times with different issues. Also sent pictures of the problems, still no resolution. Dropped Total and went with another home warranty company who came out to check the problems. The issues were numerous: incorrect installation, open wires, incorrect tape used amongst some of the issues. Before I left the company, I spoke with several different case managers and heard the same speech "the problem will be corrected" and it wasn't. I had a claim back in August.,,claim 606129 I received an email from Fernanda Fernandez saying she/he was the Claim Manager assigned to my claim and for me to call her for updated information. No one ever answered the number but I did leave a message a couple of times. It is now September 11 and still no word. I am not really satisfied right now. The sad thing is, I have two other homes that I was considering insuring with your Total Home Protection and was waiting to see how this claim turned out before I bought the coverage for the other two homes. Our AC went out in the middle of the summer. We called THP and the next day it was fixed. No tricks just the service fee and that was it. Great experience, excellent customer service. I will recommend this to everyone.

I had this plan for many years then one day I needed plumbing work done. They tell me my contract has been canceled. I asked why? They tell me they dont have enough technicians in my area. BS. NEVER HAD a problem in over ten years. Be careful they will dump you if they feel you use them too much.

I have had this company since 04\28\19 I called to have my AC unit checked. My claim was denied. I had to call 30 times each call I had to push the button to have my call returned because their call volumes were ALWAYS TOO BUSY. I was final called back just to tell me I needed to call a person that had a full voice mail and never ever out of 14 tries would call me back. not once picked up the phone. It's been 6 straight days of 103 degrees plus here in Texas You think they care??? HELL NO!!! The callers are extremely rude, They tell you all kinds of lies and you will never ever have anything covered, The uncovered list is 6 times longer that the covered list. I had to pay $1250 by...
