I got the necklace pendant for my mother over a year ago and it has worked many, many times without fail. Either the fall detection has gone off, or she has pressed the button and a wonderful person speaks to her over the "box" and asks her if she if ok and whom she would like them to call. Bay Alarm staff immediately call me and give me the information. If requested, they also call the paramedics. They have 4 different numbers to call and sometimes end up calling all 4. They have never failed us, and I would guess that my mother has fallen at least 12 times. I recommend this company to anyone to needs this service.

I am very happy with service from Bay Alarm Medical Alert. Devices are easy to use. Costs are very economical. Initially, we had a necklace for my wife and an arm band for me. Response to accidental alarms was instance and representatives were thorough in their questioning. My wife passed and now I continue with the arm band. I feel very secure with the protection Bay Alarm offers.
I received my GPS alarm about a month ago. I wanted the GPS system because I am very active and am away from my apartment quite a lot, but I've also had several falls. I tested the unit inside my apartment, and it worked perfectly, taking about 20 seconds before a representative came on the line. The directions said a charge should last about three days. Two days ago I took my unit off the charger, and the next day about 30 hours later, on a Sunday, I assumed it was still charged. My father has had Bay Alarm Medical for a year and a half now and it's been great. Set-up was not exactly a snap with phone modems and the wiring of a mobile home, but we got there eventually: no knock on Bay Alarm. My dad has a tendency to fall a LOT despite having care inside the house at least 18-20 hours a day. For those few hours not covered, Bay Alarm gives peace of mind that when he pushes the button, there'll be a response and someone to come help get him up again. The operators I've talked to have been very professional, courteous and nice ~ whether it's a real emergency or a false alarm (it happens). And for the price, which is less than a dollar a day, well worth it.
I haven't had to use it but it sure does make me feel safer.
I feel more secure when I am home alone, knowing that I can summon help if I need it. I especially feel safer when I am in the shower, where the danger of slipping and falling is much higher.
Always there when I check my system and professionally answer my questions especially concerning new products.
I have fortunately not need to use Bay Alarm for an emergency, but whether it was for set-up, trouble shooting or when testing to make sure that my system is working properly, Bay Alarm is an A+. Whenever testing my system, which is the same way that I would contact Bay Alarm for an emergency, Bay Alarm is always answered promptly and ask all the right questions to make an assessment regarding what is going on. I have found the pendant that is worn to be a bit to sensitive at times, but I have been able to adjust to that and I am very happy with Bay Alarm.
