Have had a few problems with the alert system going off for no reason. After calling customer service received a new neck button and has been working fine.

I am not happy with their billing process, again! They send you an email, that they are getting ready to bill your credit card, which being old, can look like it is their normal monthly billing message for something that was added mid year. So you just ignore it, there was nothing attached so why would I think it was anything else? Then they charge your credit card for an amount that was way more than the last year and you have no idea what went up or what was included. I was told the last time I had a problem with this same thing, that they are supposed to send invoices out. No invoice attached to the email and none received via mail either. Terrible for billing purposes, and this... Read More

I had a fall at 3am and had left my phone in a place I couldn't reach. I couldn't get up due to back spasms and I was scared. I started researching alert companies first thing later that morning. I have only had to use my call button 2 times. I have been so pleased with the reponse of both the monitor person and the EMTs.

Thankfully it hasn't been needed for an emergency but 3 times it was hit by accident and someone responded almost immediately with patience and understanding. I'm very happy we chose Bay Medical.

I have set it off numerous time by accident and your people have never failed to call within 30 seconds. They have always been exceptionally professional and polite. One time I even missed their call and they immediately summoned the Local Emergency Services (who fortunately called again before sending the Rescue Squad!) At that same time, they alerted my contacts so they also called to check on me. I think your service is worth every penny I pay for it and have recommended you to various friends. Thank you! We paid extra for the fall detection necklace for my mom. She passed out, and fell, the alarm never went off. I then did a test by dropping the device on the floor, again it did NOT go off!! I called customer service to explain what happened, thinking we would get a new device. Not what happened! I was told after falling the device can't move at all or it won't go off. Unbelievable!! We are also very unhappy with the long about of time after pushing the "HELP" button, before we talk to anyone. We decided we will be cancelling their service, I was told we have to pay for all the expense to send back this terrible system. I recommend to STAY AWAY From Bay Medical Alarm!! I will... Read More

I am not currently able to rate the service provided since I have had no emergency arise. The unit is larger than I had anticipated, which makes it awkward to wear under a shirt. I usually carry it in the included belt holster. It seems to be well made and holds a charge for longer than expected.

other then then accidental triggering the unit, it seems it works just fine. I just hope I don't need to use in a real emergency. The ladies that answer the mistake calls are very nice and helpful.
