The ordering process and equipment is too confusing. We could never figure out how to set it up. No service was made available. When I cancelled it, there was no apology or trying to get us to stay. They just said "return the unit by xx date or we will have to charge you 200 for the lost equipment. 6 months later I realized they were still charging us. I call and they said I was supposed to tell them we couldn't find the unit and give them permission to charge me the 200.

I'm very satisfied with Bay Alarm except for one thing...the long response time after pressing the help button. I've never needed the help yet (and hope I never do), but when testing, I've waited for almost 2 minutes at times for someone to come on the line. An example of what could happen while waiting, I could have had a heart attack and die. Please shorten the response time then I can give 5 stars.

Company does not have a fair refund policy. Unused portions of a contract are not refunded. My father passed away in August 2016, with his quarterly payment covered through October 2016. Company refused to refund the 2 months on his coverage even though he was not alive to make use of it. All equipment was satisfactorily returned during the month of August 2016, but no refund was issued for prior paid months of September and October.

my mom is bed ridden, ravaged by years of RA and the damage caused by the treatment and disease. With minimal eye sight, hearing, missing a leg, all but claw like function of her hands, and my aging father as her main care giver, the Bay Alarm Medical Alert button has been an amazing comfort to her. Thank you for a simple and effective product. The $30/month has been well worth the peace of mind that if help is needed it is a simple button push away.

After considerable research of medical alarm companies, both locally and nationally, I decided to entrust my elderly mom and dad's safety to Bay Alarm Medical. It took no longer than our first test of the system to know that I had made the right choice. Their response to just a test was and continues to be very professional. They do not hang up the phone until they are satisfied that all is okay. My mom passed away last year but for the year or so that we had the system before her passing it gave her, and our family, great comfort knowing that help was just the press of a button away. I will be calling you tomorrow about how disgusted with your product and I have only had it a few weeks. Last week I heard something hit the floor, it was the medallion. It worked its way out from under the lip. I put it back in. Yesterday when I got out of bed, I only had the rope on. I searched the bed & found medallion under the pillows. Tonight I get off couch & something hits the floor. This time, the medallion is on the rope, plus one side of rope has came out of the metallic clasp. If this is want I'm getting, forget it & I will cancel.
