Product arrived very quickly, within 2 days of phone order. The fall device did not function during the testing process; waiting for replacement, which is coming on Monday. Customer service seems very good thus far. They were helpful on the phone during the ordering process in addition to follow up. I like the aspect that all operators are 911 certified and operate out of the U.S. We chose the Home Guardian, which is wireless; no need to have a phone line. The customer service rep suggested that this might be a better option compared to the Classic Guardian, which requires a phone line. If phone services go down, there is no protection. So the Home Guardian is a better option. The other... Read More

the medical guardian is a great thing to have. It was accidentally pushed while installing and a voice came on and asked if I needed help... It was good to know it actually worked... The installation however did not go as instructions said. . For older seniors who do not do much of this kind of set up it was frustrating.. The instructions said you just need to plug it in.. Not so, had to call tech service to see how to do it and had to use phone line and line that came with it, one goes to in and one goes to out. took a couple of tries to get it right... For future customers it would be a good thing to explain and even have pics to show how to do this... I could not get out... Read More

The unit works off cell towers in your area and we could not get a signal at our location which was surprising because it is not in a rural area. They sent a another unit which connects to the phone line in the house which worked fine. The landline model is cheaper per month and covers a larger area. I didn't give them a higher rating because the person who sold it to me didn't tell me there were two choices. Customer service has been very helpful with set up and switching out the unit.

In speaking with Gia via chat and on the phone, she was very very helpful. A pleasant lady. If anyone is interested in a Medical Alert System to give these folks a call and ask questios & I am sure you will be treated as an individual and receive answers. Just waiting to receive my system & thought it would be here by tomorrow (Sat.) but now looks like Monday, but that's ok.

It came charged and worked well from the beginning. When I called to activate the man was very cheerful and willing to help me. Getting started was a seamless experience. I especially like that the alert around my neck is so light weight.

I liked the helpfulness of the customer service rep. She walked us thru the process of activating the base unit and provided other useful information. The wireless base unit is great because we can plug it in anywhere in the house without worrying about a phone jack. When testing the unit, the voice came thru loud and clear on the base unit. The only criticism is the way the lanyard cord is structured. You can pull out some slack to position the pendant at the breastbone but there is no good way to secure that cord once positioned. It eventually slides lower and for a short person like my mom, she could accidentally activate it by leaning against kitchen counters. We hope we won't need it... Read More

If you have to call these people to have replacement parts or tech support forget it...The recording of the music over rides the sound of the selections and you will wait forever to get and answer...
