Don't be fooled by the allure of "risk free" and "money back guarantee" plastered all over the homepage. Be sure to first locate and read the Terms and Conditions IN DETAIL, then buried at the bottom of that legal ease, click the link to "Refund Policy". You will notice there is very little chance that you will agree that this is risk free with a money back guarantee. Read similar reviews below...all with the same complaint. Company clearly prioritizing fast cash in hand over customer satisfaction. Plenty of other products on the market to choose from that are willing to offer free trials and do what's right by their customers. That's how good companies differentiate.....not this... Read More
When I read the description of this app I thought it was too good to be true. Granted, there is not a lot of information given before you have to pay, but I thought- no risk, I can cancel if it doesnt work. As soon as I got to the installation part it says that all parties have to be on the same WIFI network which wasnt the case for me. Disappointed, I immediately filed for a refund. The message I got back is that since the software wasnt the issue that I had no standing to cancel. I explained that I couldnt even USE the software as we had different WIFIs. WebWatcher charges you for an annual license, but will NOT allow you to transfer that license to a new device if your child upgrades/changes their phone; UNLESS you purchase "backup insurance" when you sign up.
So beware! You'll pay an arm and a leg for what you think is 1 year of service and then not be able to use the service if your child gets a new phone. WebWatcher will make NO exception; claiming that the system is automated and there's nothing the service rep can do to help you.
That's a lousy, underhanded, dirty, rotten policy, so they'll never get my busing again. And I hope they don't get yours!
So the Monitored iPhone has to be on the same WiFi as the monitoring device, which means the iPhone has to be in the same house. So what's the point then? Just ask the kid for the phone and look for free. Of course you don't find out about this until after you pay. I don't know if I can get my money back but I'm going to try.
This program is useless to us. Not at all intuitive - very confusing - must switch between two different apps and dashboards webwatcher and imazing. If you are an IT professional you can probably figure it out - for the average Joe like me, it's useless. phone records won't synch - auto backup doesn't work. when I chat with the tech support (when they finally answer), they just repeat the same things over and over. completely useless for me, i will be filing a dispute with my CC company.
Horrible experience with a poorly thought out product. Does not function with two factor authentication on iPhones. We signed up for this service and realized within 24 hours that it wouldn’t work. Of course that was after 3 emails to support and 5 phone calls. So we cancelled our free 30 day trial and WebWatcher aka Spyzie AMD were given the complete run around on cancelling our order. Impossible to get a live person on the line. Finally after multiple attempts, a live person verified we would be cancelled. Naturally, that did not occur. We have been billed for over $180 in services and now have been told we are outside of our 30 day cancellation period. We are disputing charges... Read More
BUYER BEWARE!!!! What they DON'T tell you about this app AFTER you pay for it is that #1. It does NOT provide real-time monitoring and #2 that in order for it to monitor your child's device you must be on the SAME WIFI!!!! I spent nearly 2 hours online with technical support as their installation instructions are horrible, as we continued in the process of the installation the gentleman (Lars) from technical support told me that the app does NOT monitor in real-time, and your child's phone and your laptop computer must be on the SAME WiFi for it to work. Omg where do I start???? I purchased this ap because I was told that it would work with iOS for my sons phone. I do a remote session with a rep to get it all set up and then their instructions were that I need to keep phone connected to pc for at least 6 hours before it would start working. It recorded 32 things After day 1 then it never did anything for another week. I waited patiently with no changes to history. I even tested search words for internet history still nothing. So after 6 hours installing two different programs and a week all the test including me deleting messages to see if it recorded that .....NOTHING!!!!! SOFTWARE DOES NOT WORK. The positive reviews on here are lies. I wasn't able to use the software after multiple attempts to download it. I called within the 72 hours "RISK FREE" trial. This was definitely a scam. Do not expect to get your refund.
I tried to cancel this a day after my 3rd year payment was issued. Never noticing the payment for prior years or using the service. They will not refund me? I have no activity on the account. Never used it. I asked for this year considering I just caught the payment. Was never able to login. So finally I have cancelled the auto payment for this paid 300. for nothing. They tell me I can use the service for the next year? I paid for three? Beware of the lack of customer service and billing! Make sure you check because they are unforgiving for any reason you cancel a day after payment there is no refund! I would not recommend!
