While their basic coverage protects mainly kitchen appliances, their Premier plan offers complete protection for all main home systems as well as appliances.

These guys are great...unless you need to make a claim with them and then they're worthless. We were in our home 2 days and the disposal started leaking water through the bottom of it which of course means it's history. I didn't have any paperwork from FAHW yet so I went and bought a new disposal for bout $270 and installed it myself, saving them the labor charge. I submitted the claim after the fact and they want to pay $107. I asked the agent to put me through to his supervisor and he said he was the supervisor. Not happy with this company at all. We had our washer go out. Called for service. The technician came late. Now it's taking two weeks to get my washer fixed. I complained to First American Home Warranty to find out if we can be assigned to someone else. They will not change suppliers. We are stuck. Sure they have the promise to replace old items if they cannot fix them. But they will take months to find parts to get it fixed before they do that. We have been treated awful from First American customer service. Was hung up on, was told they will call back. Nothing. Don't waste your money.

I have been with American home warranty for three years. I can say their choice of technicians aren't always the best but i can not complain about AHW. When i had problems with the technician they sent out they offered a new tech at no additional cost to me. They have done right by me and i will continue with them.

Wrost company ever. Beware. If a.c. breaks it better not be when it is hot because they will not get anyone to help for 5-30 days. Expenses rack up while they collect your premium. Customer care less about you and treat you that way. Good bye. Best decision I made was getting rid of them!

ABSOLUTE FAILURE AT WARRANTY. The only thing the customer services rep/account manager/resolution team can do successfully is place you on hold. Complete waste of 3 days attempting to contact them-after the contractor they used never even showed up. The next available contractor is a week away-3 weeks without power in my kitchen, despite being able to have a local contractor (who they will not authorize or reimburse me for) available tonight! Currently looking into cancelling this policy for refund and purchasing with another company. DO NOT waste your time or hard earned money, this company will squander it.

No matter how Affordable this company is it’s not worth the headache. They contract with the worst providers in the are and never provide a full solution in less than a week (4-5 business days). Their providers are prone to hack jobs and are always on the look to make extra cash from you so good luck getting anything fixed well. Their service reps have no power to speed up or provide you with alternatives and are simply not inclined to help. Horrible experience

Just the opposite, stay away, run and unsubscribe from any advertisement you receive from them. First American Home Warranty Corp. has to be the biggest scam I have ever been sucked into! I agree with every other review. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced with any company. We have been customers for 7 years and until this year they had decent customer service. We have had hvac issues and the original contractor caused it to become worse and almost started a fire in our house. We have been trying to get it fixed for months and today are so frustrated that we are going to cancel the coverage. The front line Customer Service people do not speak English well. The contractors do not show up when scheduled and we remain without a/c in 100 degree weather for over a month due to lack of communication from First American Home Warranty.
