Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Wind was flowing through the dryer plastic from outdoor that got completely damaged in a storm. They covered the replacement and installation of a new metal one! It works fantastic thanks!

It took two men over the day to come in and patch my roof. The leak is now gone and I am dry again in my bedroom. For a warranty costing me only a few hundred dollars you get good service and it is sooo worth it.

I rest easy knowing that Select Home has my defense on repairs around the house that I would have to pay out of pocket. These first 6 months have been all good with very helpful and friendly agents.

They lie. State the contractor never submitted the diagnosis. Contractor says he did. Waited for two weeks. They said they never received it. I called the contractor and he yelled at me for he stated he submitted it twice. Select lied and still said they did not receive it. Why would the contractor lie about this? He told me that Select is terrible to work with for they do this all the time! You have to keep pushing them and pushing them to honor the agreement. I don't have time for this. Select said go get your own contractor on your own expense and submit the diagnosis and they will review for approval. Yeah right!! Or they will send another one out and have them submit a... Great to see SHW in action with my first claim. I was pleasantly surprised in how thorough each step was done. My range is back to normal and so i the fan apparates no longer making a loud wooshing noise.

Filed claim last Wednesday the 29th. On Friday at 4PM SHW told me they couldn't find an electrician and told me I have to call one myself. The electrician needs to bid the repair and then I contact SHW for authorization #. I did that - now they won't send the authorization or communicate with me in any way. Be very careful with this Home warranty company. Today is Tuesday June 4th - no electricity or air conditioning for 6 days. This is what you call "Kick the little Guy". I've called several times - they will not connect me with a manager. They have themselves well protected from unsatisfied customers. I have been very respectful so they can't use that.
