Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Customer service agent, David Walker, was great about going over my concerns for certain limited coverages. He was able to add the items I wanted and still get me a low price. I feel so much better knowing my home is covered.

I had them for 11 months, I filed my first claim for my ac unit. They said it could take 2 days for someone to contact me to see if they will send a tech out. I kept asking if they will cover what I needed done & they gave me runaround. Finally I got someone to tell me no after the 5th call & after they scheduled tech 2 days later. I said no need to send tech if you wont cover it & I'll just cancel my policy. Two more days & 11 people later- no exaggeration- I got to someone to cancel my policy. They try hard to talk you out of canceling & by that point I'm so frustrated & over it, if you're not going to cover what I need then what's the point! I prepaid for 5 years up front also. There... worse company in the world,,,,,,, worse!!!!! it took them 2 months to tell me that they cannot find the part for my dishwasher and that they will replace the unit but not for the full amount . they only credit me 1/3 of what it cost to replace my dishwasher. do not be fooled by the low rate and nice agents... horrible

Thank you for a great and positive experience. Thought it would take forever and I was on pins and needles but it did not. A week for repair is not bad and I can recommend Select Homes services to anyone in the market for a warranty and a good price.

i have a warranty on my private get away house and after a long winter away sometimes things dont work. This is why i like having protection of my warranty. I prepare a claim and then i will go down and make sure the work is complete.

I bought the scam hook line and sinker for two (2) homes. If you notice you have horrible experiences listed or absolutely wonderful ........I would guess Mr and Mrs Wonderful are financially connected to this company! I have made numerous attempts between the two homes to get issues corrected with not one (1) positive result. I have paid several $45 service call fees with no return of the contractors and no reimbursement of my payments. I was told once to have an emergency service performed and I would be reimbursed minus the $45. Receipt, invoice and copy of cancelled check were emailed and mailed to the company. I read a lot of great reviews for this company but I will tell you this is the worst warranty company I have ever dealt with. They claimed to cover my homes but they actually didn't. After more than 2 months of waiting for service I finally had to cancel. I called and put in several claims but all I got in return were a few emails stating they where working on it. I get it- Sometimes a company can't get a tech out to your house, however it was very clear they were not ever going to get a tech out to my house. I made a mistake and flushed something down the toilet and when playing with the handle it snaped off. I am not very handy but select certainly is! They came and replaced the whole inside of the toilet with better and stronger parts.
