Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Part of what made my experience so great is how incredible the speed was. I not only had to have emergency repair that was covered and managed in one day, they also called me each day to make sure everything was fixed. They are a must have warranty provider.

This company is a scam. Submitted a claim online regarding a defective freezer seal. I noted some of the issues caused, including frost build up in the freezer. Without sending anyone out or seeing the issue, they diagnosed the frost buildup as a water leak, and said it was not covered under my (PLATINUM) warranty. Please save your money and avoid this company.

The worst. It's a shame I have to give them any stars at all. My hot water heater failed March 31, 2019. I submitted a claim, they responded April 2, 2019. April 8, 2019 their contractor arrived to tell me the hot water heater couldn't be repaired. At that same time he told Select. They asked for pictures, I emailed them that same day, April 8th. Since that time they have requested pictures every time I contacted them about their decision on the claim. I called them the following days,... April 16, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29, 30th, May 1 and 2. This is my second attempted to use my home warranty and the second time they have had a ridiculous excuse as to why they would not honor their warranty. I have purchased the PLATINUM Package with the HVAC coverage, I called in and very clearly stated that my AC is not cooling, in addition my secondary appears to have kicked on, which has led to the drain pan filling with water. Not sure why the unit is NOT WORKING and NOT COOLING, but there rep simply submitted it for a condensation leak which was not accurate AT ALL! ( and of course is not covered.) I am going to give you a great big recommendation for giving my a refund on my defective microwave. It was a very easy process consisting of filling out the proper paper work and getting the stamp of approval, super easy to deal with.
