Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I am having a hard time getting answers on whether a claim is approved or not. It has been in process for a while and haven't heard anything back.

With each passing claim I am more and more happy that I use Select warranty for my home care protection. It has saved me a good $500 and that helps a lot!

Our attic ceiling sprung a leak that was covered by one of shw's roof repair men. He did a satisfactory job. The leak is now gone and I am happy with my service call.

The claim process was quick and easy. They had a repairman come out within one day. My appliance was an older model, and it couldn't be repaired. However, they gave me payment toward replacement promptly, as was noted in the contract.

I have used Select Home Warranty with 2 different homes, and I purchased a warranty for the buyer of my last home. I have been pleased with their pricing, the partner's responsiveness, and the customer service. I have used others in the past but will continue to use SHW. I highly recommend them.

Have not had to use their repair services as of yet so will see how that goes in the future! I was impressed, however, with the representative I spoke with, Bruce Allen. He was very polite and friendly and knew his stuff!! I like having options on my warranty so this particular warranty was just right for me. Hopefully this warranty will be as good as it sounds, but I've had warranties in the past that didn't work out too well so keeping my fingers crossed, especially after reading the pros and cons from others. I'll hang in there !!

On a Sunday, I received a telephone response within an hour of filing my claim. I am now waiting to be contacted by a repairman.
