Could not ask for more! I had a claim serviced in 24 hours on my heat failure. Select called me to confirm it was completed a few days later. This level of support is what I was looking forward to with a home warranty.

Worst experience ever Horrible horrible horrible horrible
Be careful when signing with this company, be sure to read the small and very small print. I signed with them in early January 2019 a little over a month later I called for service for a refrigerator leak (which I would never have know about except for the fact I was having the house painted and when the fridge was moved a small leak was discovered behind it) when I put in a claim I was informed that the leak was pre-existing and therefore not covered. At the end of February I called in a claim for plumbing fixtures, since the fixtures are Moen and covered for life, Moen was kind enough to overnight the cartridges needed to repair the faucet, again the claim was denied this time because... I am impressed with how speedy my claim was dispatched a representative. For a measily few hundred bucks you'd expect not much and I am pleasently suprised with Select. *They fixed my kitchen drain.
All my questions were answered on the support ticket line and request for service was made in a four days. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and as far as appliances are concerned worth every penny to warrant.
This is THE company that gives home warranties a bad name. Major issues: false advertising, dishonest salespeople, counter-productive customer service, failure to provide coverage for promised items, ineffective communication with customers or service providers, hidden costs for cancellation. My wife and I called Select Home Warranty while on a road trip to discuss covering our rental property. During the course of the very long phone call we asked several specific questions about the coverage. Their contractors never show up or return calls. Then they ask you to find your own contractor, give him a phone approval and then not reimburse you the amount. Customer service is awful! Run, run, run!
.Everything was ok, but I didnt receive a policy to show me what I am getting. Just received a welcome. Had to call back to get policy.
The motor on my dish washer burnt out and had a bad smell. I had no issue creatin a claim. The claim was finalized a day ago and I once again have a working dish washer thank you
Rep managed my issue in a courtesy manner. I am satisfied with the interaction.
