Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

As quickly as I scheduled a request for service with Select Home, a call came through within 10 minutes. The contractor came in 6 hours and showed up on time. One hour to repair and spoke to me about other potential future problems he may see I should be on the lookout for. A+ job done.

There was a heating issue with the gas built furnace. SHW Hired a contractor who made an initial diagnosis. He was thorough and took the time to explain all this potential problems and reasons this could come up again. Let me say it this way I recommend Zip's Heating and Air.

I can only say BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! I submitted a claim and 6 weeks later still don't have issue fixed! Talked to several different customer service agents and managers on many different dates. Promises of returned phone calls what a joke. Every time I spoke to someone there was always something else different being said or different from what was told on previous conversations with them. They say things that are going to take place and when they didn't I called again to be yet told something different again!! This company isn't to be TRUSTED!! They have my money and it is a total loss! I am going to file against this lying company and I hope this post keeps them from getting other... Read More

I purchased SHW services over the phone . Signed contract and paid in full. Very first claim with cook top repair was accepted. Technician came next day I've paid fee plus gave him a tip. He said that part is needed. Than few days later he said that to get part is SHW responsibility. I called customer service and they told me that I have to by new cook top. At the mean time I looked on line for the part and it is available from several retailers. for under $100.00 Cook top cost $1,600.00. Another claim for AC repair was not even considered by SHW. I had to install new AC unit. SHW sand me check for $90.00 for cook top part. It is complete sham. So far i am out of $364.00. No... Read More

I feel really protected with SHW on my side. The response time was incredible to say the least. 3 hours to get a service company to my house was totally unexpected. My A/C took a zap during a summer thunderstorm and wouldn't turn back on. The motor burned out and with part ordering took two days to finish the work.

Timely responses to my water heater issue. Select's customer service is friendly and knows how to get the right vendor(in my case a plumber). Everything was completed on time and schedule and me and my wife are very happy with the end result.

So far I have done my garage door springs, Oven stopped getting hot, washing machine wouldnt get hot to name a few. Everytime I have called SHW they sent out a repair man to fix the issue. sometimes they replace a part, other times its just a simple adjustment that needs to be done over time. I highly recommend them this has saved me a ton of money.

Everyone I've spoke with at Select Home Warranty have been very hospitable. Over the past 5 years I have made 8 claims. Its to much to list all of them, but the last job was for my sink drain in the kitchen. It was cleaned out for me and its been working great ever since.

Repair World called the day after i created a complaint online. I can not say enough great things about Repair World. They were efficient clean and really knew how to fix my dishwasher which had a bad blade. Select also called and made a follow up to make sure the job was done. Nice touch.

The service was quick and done well. From the time I called SHW to the the moment the tech came I was on pins and needles. The technician reassured me everything woud be fine with my broken fan fixture and to give him an hour. He finished quicker than an hour and replaced a peice and took all the garbage with him.
