Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I submitted a claim with Select Home Warranty for my stove and they responded the next day. The techs were both good and they've been there also for my dryer. They did the repair the same day and it's been working since.

The repairman called me the very next day and came to look at my freezer, found the problem and has kept in touch with me about the next steps on getting the appliance back up and running. Incredible service.

I have had SHW for two (2) years and have had to use them twice,. The first year I had a problem with a water leak. The plumbing experience was somewhat of a task, as there were no SHW contracted plumbers in my area. As a result I had to call and pay a plumber myself. Getting reimbursed was also a bit of a challenge, but they finally came through. Giving SHW a benefit of a doubt -- I renewed with them. I called them on a weekend in the winter when the heat went out. The service was prompt and the repairman was great. Having SHW gives me a feeling of security, as I know they will be there should I have a need for their services. Thank you SHW!

Buyer beware, they dont have tech. they dont show up or follow up on claims or complaints. I have multi properties covered and on every on they were awful. They have best pricing and lured me away from another company. When the charm of low price comes is in contact with service the result is a real Stinker.. Select Home Warranty lie on phone and many times the do not respond to claims. when they do they have trouble finding tech reps to respond. I found they don t show up and they find ways not to pay for anything.If you complain like I did they threaten to cancel your service threatening with a 75 cancel fee. I wish management could have helped but One said he would is now gone and... Read More

I had to ask for contract and they lied about not paying to after signing because they never asked me to sign until I had a claim ! Ihad to put one star because you had to put something but as of right now they don't deserve a star, this company makes promises they do not keep , I paid service guy $60 to come view problems he was very good and very nice , but select home warranty has gave me the run around for over a week on both they refuse to fix heat and air and I'm single mom with a disabled child which its been very difficult and uncomfortable for us both.And with dryer they saying they will give me $50 credit towards a new one and it's a gas dryer which I paid over $500 for they... The contractor that came out to fix my garage door was very personable, he arrived to fixed the door within the allotted time, he knew what the problem was right away, he fixed it, and was on his way.

Our refrigerator's water wasn’t working right then I filed the claim over the phone to Select Home Warranty. It worked fine with the contractor as well.

I've always had wonderful experiences with Select Home Warranty. I generally file claims over the phone and the reps take the basic information. They're very professional. The contractors come out and do a good job, and are also very professional, courteous, and helpful. SHW is very good, and the fact that they're looking to improve is even better. I've recommended them very highly to other people.

I called SHW and went through the prompt, and set up for a repair for my dryer. I was given the days that were available for repair to come out. The contractor was really nice. I asked what was going on, he knew what it was and he went through with it then he cleaned. I would recommend them.

This place is a complete rip off...they make it sound amazing when you are purchasing the warranty but when you try to get something repaired they completely rip you off. 00000 stars for this company The lady I was talking to hung up on me. Stay away from select home warranty!
