Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

This company sucks, they are a total rip off. Stay far away, they state they cover items but disallow them once you file a claim. They are a total scam.

I was with Select warany i Not recommended select waranty. Every 4 claims da dnied. Frunace heater, dishwasher, kitchen sink disposal, washing machin tim fram. December too. March

I advise anyone do not waist your money with Select Home Warranty. I should have followed my mind and went with AHS which I know there service is great anytime you call for repairs. My first claim was in October or November 2016, for my water heater which they refused to pay for service because it was still under factory warranty for parts, but what about the labor charges? I had to pay $160.00 even though I had a home warranty with Select home Warranty. I called for a repair for my sprinkler systems on March 8, 2017. I have assigned two contractors: The first one want returns calls and the second contractor doesn't work on sprinkler systems. Today, I was told that I need to find my... Read More

Be careful they say will fix even if you buy a used home but when I tried to file a claim on a house I brought 5 months ago and first claim I have filled . They asked for maintaining records for three years all which I did not own . They sell reassurance but actually are giving me grief ! I hope they step up and fix my problem I'll keep you updated, but it's seeming like a scam !!!!!!'

This company is garbage! Would not replace water heater because it leaked. Only gave $75 toward new dishwasher. After $45 deductible, to a "company" working out of a beat up mini van, I only got $30 for new dishwasher because they would not pay to fix it, nor pay to install it. You really better check contract its full of ways out of getting out of paying. I really can't believe all those people that say this company is so great when I have nothing but problems with them. Read the contract closely before you waste your money on them!

This is the worst experience. They could not document my email address after 4 phone calls asking them to take off the title agent's email. They sure enough had my email in the advertisement department. I supposedly bought the warranty Feb 9 2017. When I tried to file claim on April 3 they claimed it wasn't yet in service. The customer service on the phone was rude and insulting claiming I should know the information yet I never received notification via email as requested. (They still had the title company's email address)

Great service. Contractors quickly respond to set up appointment once request is easily made online. Contractors are professional and polite. Provide repair quickly and explain the problem.

I called Select Home Warranty for an air conditioner repair. The rep was very nice and the contractor they sent out did what he was supposed to do. He knew how to take care of the problem and did a wonderful job.
