Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I wish I had seen all of these reviews before I signed up. I signed up end of November and all of these review are from December. I feel so angry that this company is getting away with stealing from us and lying to us. HOW CAN WE ALL GET TOGETHER TO GET OUR $ BACK. This is such a scam!!!!! i just switched companies to Select Home Warranty and am so regretting it. I was told by the Sales Agent that they are a local company, not true. Last day of the year my water heater stops working and the customer service experience was a nightmare. First two people were in India and did not understand anything I was saying. Then I get a young lady in NJ who was so rude and uncaring that I wrote to the Company to complain and of course no response. Then I'm told that its not covered before they even receive the paperwork from the Plumber. Unreal. I am currently trying to find out how to get out of this and go back to my last company. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I signed up with this company after I talked to a sales person on the phone who said my leaky faucet would be covered. He gave me a price with faucet coverage for the same price as my other home warranty coverage...(sounds like a deal doesn't it?) I discussed in detail what was wrong. He tells me to call in 30 days and make a claim and I will be all and they tell me my claim cannot be honored because the condition existed before I had the policy. I have the coverage for 8 months. I called in stating the induction motor just starting making a high pitch noise when my furnace is on. I was told they would not accept this claim because the furnace is this working and before I could respond the person hung up the phone. I called back and this person did create a claim. He told me I would get a EM from a local company to come to check to the furnace. I waited one day no EM. After I did not get a EM from a heating company I called Select. I was told after I was given the claim number management reviewed this claim and refused to send someone to fix the problem.They told if the furnace is still working they would not repair the problem.... I bought a two year warrant with select home warranty last February.The first time I file a claim after after ten months due to the heating system leaking water, First, the deny my claim with the reason that the contract does not cover Air Condition's air condensation. I reply that it is aHEATING SYSTEM ( We are in the winter). They replied me to call the number 855-267-3532 ext 5082. I call this number several time, It is alsways disconnects my all.. I sent an email to the salesman. This email replies e with a ticket number. I sound like a deeption

I called up Select about my furnace blowing cold air. They sent me a claim# and the name of the company who would be fixing it. I called the service company, and they were out of business. I then called Select again, and the rep ( which are horrible and rude ) said they would asign my claim to another company. It took until that evening to get reassigned. I called the new company the next morning and that company said they rejected the claim because Select Home Warranty does not pay the bills submitted to them from the subcontractor.
