After my mother being transported by EMS two times, when there was no need, I contacted Bay Alarm, and told you to call me or one of my two sisters, FIRST. We can be there almost as quick as the ambulance, and assess the situation. I was told to send this request to you in writing, which I did some time ago. Then about two weeks ago, the same thing happened where EMS was called before we were. I was able to get there before they transported her. AGAIN, no need for an ER visit! If this happens again, we will be discontinuing your service.

Bay Alarm turned out to be a great choice. They are there when you need them and have shown themselves to be aware of any irregularities and problems with phone system problems. their respose in all cases have been immediate.

I canceled my account - in January. When needed the most- during a stroke, there was no response when I pushed the button. I was later told my pendant was not synced with the main response box. I know it was properly tested and worked when I received the replacement. That being said, if there was no link between main box and pendant, why wasn't this obviously important detail not detected. I was never offered a refund for the time the button never worked. Never with this company again!!!

I assume Bay Alarm's equipment is efficient. On occasion and employee informs me it is helpful for me to phone ahead when I am about to test my equipment, giving them a heads up that my next (after a few minutes) call will not be an emergency as it is simply a test. At other times (over a few years) an employee will tell me not to bother as it is not helpful. This shows me that there may be a poor training period of new employees. A few months ago I phoned ahead for my requested monthly checkup. All seemed fine but ten minutes later some firemen knocked at my door. This is unacceptable. Therefore, I no longer perform the monthly checkup. Just hope my equipment is working.

I haven't really had to use them. Just knowing that my mom has the necklace on gives me a lot of comfort. We test it every now and then. The only thing I am a little concerned about is that our phone was not working for awhile because of line trouble and the alarm was beeping but no one from Bay Alarm Medical called the alternate number to see if everything was okay. Am I wrong to assume that they should? I would think they would notice that something was wrong when they test their system which I understand is every week. Unfortunately, no one ever called the other number to report any trouble. Maybe I've been expecting too much?
