My 91 year old mother lives with us. We got Bay Alarm Medical Alert for her. We got the fall detection and cannot say how impressed we have been with the very prompt attention we received when she falls. Some of the alerts have been accidental or not serious, thankfully, but Bay Alarm Medical has saved my mom on more than one occasion. I cannot say enough good about this company.
The Bay Area Life Alert System has worked flawlessly for us. The system does everything just as advertised. Although we have been fortunate that we have not had to use the alert system yet, we have accidentally activated it on occasion and must say that the system definitely works, and works well. It was extremely easy to set up and use right out of the box. I live in Pennsylvania and researched different systems and elected to go with the Bay Area System even though the company is located in California. In looking at services offered Bay Medical had options that we liked in creating a medical support for my mother that lives at home alone. The alarm buttons that can be placed in the home in fall areas add additional comfort if she falls and does have her pendent on. Recently my mom had a medical issue that required immediate attention and Bay Medical handle her alarm timely and professional and she received the medical support she needed. If there was any concerns my mother had about the services Bay Medical offers her concerns were removed and a since of security that someone will help when needed.
So far everything that you said would happen has. My Dad has had no problems and your service has been there whenever he has needed it. Thank you.
I chose Bay Alarm Medical Alert for my mother based on their highly rated consumer reviews. Overall, I have had a very good experience with them. When conducting monthly tests of the devices, they are always prompt and courteous. Their website is relatively straight forward and the on-line ordering process was easy to use. However, the statement about shipping the units same day if ordered before 2p was not accurate in my case. I ordered well before 2p (calculated for the appropriate time zone) on a Friday and the unit was not shipped that day, even after I called to confirm. My 85 year old grandmother died of lung cancer on March 2, 2016. On 1/20/16, we had just renewed her Bay Alarm policy. I called upon her death to see if they would be pro-rating her service and that we would immediately send the equipment back. They WOULD NOT prorate anything being that I paid for her entire year of service upfront. Instead, they choose to make money off dead people that they are not servicing. Be aware of their unethical policy prior to deciding how you will pay for their services, if you must go with them. I signed up for Bay Alarm Medical Alert after having a stroke this summer in June, The customer support in getting connected and set up for any needed alarm or medical support was outstanding with the wireless equipment and our trouble free installation. The response of the Bay Alarm staff was superior and prompt. I am very confident that if I need an emergency response, I will get it. Thank you for your support in the last 6 months.
My husband and I decided it was time to get his 93 year old Mom a fall detection necklace and wrist band. She had fallen several times in her apartment but wouldn't always tell us. Luckily she hasn't fallen since we got the equipment. If she should fall, help would be sent. That's peace of mind for all of us. Thank you. Brenda in Arkansas.
I have not had to use this service but I feel more secure knowing that if I need help it will be available. It also reassures my grown children as I am alone most of the time.

Fortunately we have not reported a medical emergency with Bay alarm since beginning our service earlier this year. However, it gives us the peace of mind knowing there is support available when needed. As a caretaker for my home bound wife it provides me with a safety net when leaving home for necessary errands. My wife wears the lightweight pendant until I return home. I also was pleased with the support I received from your customer service during the initial setup of this service.
