We got the Bay Alarm Medical Alert per my mom's request for her peace of mind. It's been great so far! Any technical difficulties she has had have been answered quickly and easily per your staff. She has never been made to feel "silly" or "bothersome". Thank you for that!!
This was a very easy process from start to finish. The only hiccup was that we ordered the lock box and they forgot to include it with the device but a quick call clarified this and the box was sent right away (tho by regular delivery). For this alone I deduct half a star. Was very easy to set up and when testing the response time (highly recommend after set up to ensure all is working properly) the responder was courteous and efficient.
I am very satisfied with Bay Alarm Medical Alert. Although I have never had to call them with a real emergency, they are super-prompt when my husband's "button" gets accidentally pressed. They have great customer service and are a professionally-run company. As I pay the low monthly fee, I feel pleased with myself that I did research into all the many medical alert companies and picked the one with lower fees and no contract and all the same benefits as the widely advertised alarm companies..
So far, so good. Hit remote button by mistake once and got call from Bay alarm immediately. Told them
that it was a mistake by me but while I was talking with them the paramedics were at my door. Can't beat
that for instant response.
Would be nice though if a monthly reminder to test the system could be received by the customer to
test the system.
I ordered Bay Alarm Medical for my 92 yr young mom who lives in a different state than myself. I keep in constant contact with her each day, but having the unit there provides a confidence of protection. Their 24/7 monitoring brings the family much more peace of mind.

My mother is 84 years old. She has been using the Bay Alarm Medical Alert for about 3 years. When I first got it for her she did not like it and she felt is was a nuisance. But, when she fell last June at 2:00 a.m. and got a nasty gash in her head she was grateful she had it. She pushed the button and within seconds someone was on the line with her. An ambulance was to her door within 10 minutes and a call came into my home. I was informed that my mother had fallen and an ambulance would meet me at the hospital. Everything turned out fine but I truly believe that it my mother had not had the medial alert she would have surely bled to death before anyone knew she was injured.
I am an RN who purchased this system for my elderly mother that lives with me. She experienced a fall when I was not at home and after extensive research I went with Bay Alarm Company. Even when we have a "false alarm" that gets called in the employees not only answer the call promptly but are very courteous and helpful. It gives me piece of mind that she could receive assistance should she need it when I am not at home or available. The initiation set up process could not be easier and it is a great value-after all you can't put a price tag on safety and piece of mind. A GREAT company to do business with!
The Service itself, seems to be top notch, and without any complaints. However, keeping this review from a 4 or 5 star rating is the fact that there is no online account service to allow for management of payments, payment types, reviewing of balances, or changes to service, etc. All first-hand service requests must be made through phone contact with an operator. And while the service provided is friendly, quick, helpful and informative, taking care of a parent's account while at the office would definitely be more convenient if an online option were provided.
We could not have been more pleased with the service provided by Bay Alarm Medical, and mean that in all honesty. From testing mom's service (thank goodness we never had to actually use it), to the reminders that we had not tested in a while. They even called us if we had not responded. This is a highly recommended service. Mom is now living in independent care, which uses their own monitoring system. We would use this service again without question. Thank you Bay Alarm for honoring your promises as a company.
