Buyer beware! Like many reviews before me, our vacation was canceled due to Clovid-19. Our claim was denied and CSA claimed the pandemic was a FORESEEABLE event so they would not refund. Don’t waste your money with this company.

We booked a home through VRBO using CSA insurance, to house guests for our son's wedding. We cancelled two weeks early when the state government issued a 10 person gathering limit, and the government in our guests' home state issued a travel ban. CSA refused our request for a $750 refund, stating that "a government travel ban does not equate to a quarantine". Total BS. Thier agent There are enough similar stories here that I would like to consider finding a law firm to pursue a class action level lawsuit against this company for fraudulent refusal to pay valid claims. Anyone interested?

We booked travel insurance through CSA on February 19, 2020 for our trip to Portugal in May. Our flight was cancelled in April due to COVID-19. I already knew that we couldn't file a claim for cancellation due to pandemic, so I asked for a refund. I was only offered a voucher valid until the end of 2020. What? I have only 7 months to use this voucher, but to where? Where am I supposed to travel if all countries are on the lock down? Can I extend the voucher if I do not travel this year? I asked to extend to 18 months but received another negative response. The only clear answer I was able to hear: Thank you for your purchase, we except your gift, and please come again next year. Never... Read More

My terrible experience is the same as all others as it relates to COVID-19. We were supposed to arrive in Key West on Mar. 21. Had we gone, the island actually mandated that all visitors had to leave on Mar. 22. CSA is denying my claim because "government orders" are not covered. I understand that the company wasn't anticipating paying all these claims, but this is terrible. Never use this company and I hope VRBO ends their relationship with them.

I too wish I had read the reviews prior to the COVID pandemic. Their poor reputation precedes that. True to form, they denied our claim for a VRBO refund which was submitted in mid-March and just today I received their 'decision'. The claim was made due to a state mandated stay at home order due to the pandemic in Washington state. CSA said it isn't a 'quarantine' (which supposedly would have been covered although I know they would have found some other reason not to cover that either). They said a stay at home order is not a quarantine and they don't cover government mandated travel bans. Now I see they are denying EVERYONE for any claim. It's a gigantic international corporation,... Read More

Vacation rental purchased on January 19th, 2020. Travel and Damages Insurance purchased and signed into contract on the same day and time. Our trip was to Marathon Florida, May 16th - May 25th Called too many times to remember and emailed them, finally receiving this response a couple days ago" Thank you for your email. We have located policy 20018W5495-R1 in our system associated to reservation 641XXXX. The Coronavirus outbreak is considered a foreseeable event under any plans purchased on or after January 29, 2020.That means you could be covered if you are diagnosed with Coronavirus, but foreseeable events such as becoming quarantined due to the Coronavirus will not be... This company will do anything and everything they can to take your money and NOT pay you. I was denied my claim due to COVID-19 and couldn't travel to my destination in Hawaii. They offered to insurance premium to be applied to another trip. I WILL NEVER BUY INSURANCE AGAIN, DEFINITELY NOT THROUGH CSA TRAVEL!

No response to claim made almost 3 weeks ago. I call and no one responds. What a waste of money. They should have their license revoked. Throwing money into a dark hole!
