The service has been timely and professional. Being able to use the local expertise we prefer is great.
I’ve had American Home Shield four five years, my AC unit went out April 5th..they sent a repairman on the 8th of April..they said I needed a new coil because it leaked out all the Freon. Two weeks later they sent a man to look at the AC again..six weeks later May 28th the part was to be here..two weeks later June 14th. They came out but the coil wasn’t all the parts needed because they found another leak..today June 21st. They don’t know where the part is but they’ll call and put us on the call list for repair..A-total of 83 days without heat or air..my home right now is 101 degrees, humidity thick..with temps outside 98 degrees. We have lived in our den with a portable AC unit this whole... Read More
I have had them for 8 years and they have gone downhill. It took them 4 months to fix a small part on my dryer and every time I called I was routed to someone overseas and was told that I was fortunate because they don’t have dryers over there??? The final nail in the coffin happened this weekend. My air conditioner quit working on Saturday night. I filled out a service request not expecting anyone to fix it since it was Father’s Day weekend. This morning(Monday) I called the company they sent me and was told they had nothing until Wednesday. Mind you my home is now 89 degrees inside. Service was superb. We had issues with our A/C unit. I made the request via online for service and had a text within minutes of someone will contact me as soon as possible. Within 30 minutes I received a text with the name of the company who will service the A/C. Two days later the technician was at our house and did an excellent job and answered all of our questions. We are very pleased with the service we received.
Once again AHS was amazing. My AC Unit wasn’t working properly and I put in my service call online and within minutes I had the information of the contracted company who would be servicing my unit. The contracted company was out and diagnosed the problem the same day. Within 36 hours the part was here and the repair completed. AHS and Hospitality Heating and Air did an outstanding job with my issue. Thank You AHS for being so professional and quick to resolve my situation.
You guys are terrible! Worst customer service process I have ever seen! Managers are afraid to talk to customers or deal with escalations. Agents are left on their own to handle customer issues with a very precarious process. Terrible company. In addition to not renewing the contract once it ends, I also don't recommend AHS to friends or family. In fact, I wouldn't even recommend it to enemies. Also, when you give the option to rate your business with a stars via survey, I strongly recommend that you allow us to rate your company with ZERO star. Quick response for scheduling ,no problems. Did take two weeks for parts however.
AHS is there when you need them. Easy job requests. Only reason for not giving g 5 stars is I live in a rural area and AHS doesn't pay the contractor a trip fee to come to my house. Trip fee ran me $150 on top of my $100 deductible. But the service was great.
So far so good. They have been very responsive and have sent out the appropriate technicians for the problem.
They sent us Gator for our Subzero and Frontline plumbing for a leak in the kitchen . Both servicemen were professional, polite and knew what they were doing!
Worse customer service. This is a company that does not care about their customer. I have a claim open for more of 5 months and they always trying to fix the problem instead of replacing it. My heat pump has beem broken since December multiple of contractors have come to my home fixed it and now are asking me to pay out of my pocket because I reach the max on my policy.
PLEASE DONT GET THIS WARRANTY.
