I signed up for my warranty a few months ago. Since signing up o have had 2 service calls and have been satisfied with the repairs and ease of use. I recommend American Home Shield to everyone I talk to that is purchasing a home. It has saved me money on oven and furnace repairs. Thank you for making this service hassle free!

I have been waiting for service on my plumbing for 3 months now. The first company came out I waited 2 weeks then called to find out the status only to find they were waiting for a call from me. I had no idea that they were. I called the company and they never picked up 2 weeks later I called AHS to get another company to come out, I am still waiting to hear from that company. I called back to AHS about this company and the rep gave me the name of the company and the number and told me to call them myself. I did so they said that a rep would call me back still waiting. AHS is great to work with. Simple and easy to request service. in 2 years I've only had one issue with repairs and AHS stepped in to help resolve the issue.

I highly recommend American Home Shield Home Warranty, I have not had an issue with their immediate follow-up to request service. The only thing I would recommend is for the website to still allow you to request service if you need the contractor to go back again because the problem came up again. When this happens you need to call the toll-free number and it is not available 24 hrs. That being said, I have no negative comments to make about AHS, their cost is reasonable considering the high cost of appliance repairs and the number of home appliances covered.

i have been waiting for 9 days to get my water heater replaced. AHS sent the first company out on day 3, they indicated that the water heater needed to be replaced. AHS indicated they wanted to send another company out for a second opinion, not sure why. I had to wait another 3 days just for them come out and take pictures of the same issue that was reported by company #1. Now AHS has what they need so you would think they would have called the 1st company back, since the water heater is under warranty, to give them authorization to proceed with the replacement. NOOOO...they did not. So day 8&9 I have called AHS, with 35-45 minute wait times, to see when the authorization would go... Read More

A first-class operation. They get the problem solved quickly and professionally. The contractors that they use are all screened and know what they're doing. I would recommend American Home Shield to anyone for that peace of mind that we all need.

AHS has quickly gotten someone to us when we've requested service. However, I should be able to select from multiple company's that they work with. I was unhappy with the service provided from a contractor and requested another company be sent out, AHS stated that there was no other company in the area that they work with. This was upsetting being I am a home owner and should be provided options if I am unsatisfied.

I think the wait time for someone to answer the phone to get service is crazy. With all the money you guys make you need to hire more help answering the phone. On each call I have made to AHS, the wait time was at least 45 mins. or longer. The reasons I heard from customer service are crazy. As far as the plumber they first sent out were dishonest people. You guys need to check these repairmen out before you send them out. I appreciate being allowed to get a second opinion. My second opinion plumber was GREAT and all the things the first plumber stated was proven to be wrong. I think you need to hire someone to look at the Better Business Bureau on some of your contractors.

Here we are going in to month 7 of having a late service fee due from early January. It still hasn't been taken care of like I have been told on numerous occasions by many different associates and supervisors. Why is it so difficult to fix someone's account? I don't think I will renew my contract in October since this company doesn't seem to care about their customers. I have never had such an issue with a company and this is absolutely ridiculous. I will never refer anyone to this company, as a matter of fact I will tell them to definitely go somewhere else and not even bother looking into this company.
